My sister-in-law challenged me to do this. I don't know why I am but here goes. I'm actually a private person and I hope no one reads this -- a least not for a thousand years or so. Then maybe it can be my legacy. Some researcher in the future will read this and realize how mundane life was in the 2000s. What do we call this decade anyway? I still have yet to figure that out and we've been in it for eight years. I can't believe 2010 is only 2 years away! That's my 20 year high school reunion. I remember thinking that 2010 would never come. Where has the time gone? Not that I'm unhappy with my life -- it just hasn't turned out how I thought it would. I guess life never does. Even if you get everything you ever wanted, it somehow never ends up being what you thought it would be. Ah, reality.

That's enough for a beginning. I have to do my homework. Yes, homework. I want to get my Master's degree and I'm stuck taking a basic stats class (which I should have taken 14 years ago in college) before I can take the good stuff. Just goes to show that no matter how hard you try to avoid something, it almost always comes back to bite you in the you-know-what!!!

Yeah Sherry! I will read it all the time and I can't wait to hear all the "boring" things in your life! Sorry we didn't get to have dinner on Sunday--can't wait to see you again
